fuel pump

i am changing the points in the fuel pump, when i took them out i had to unsrew them from a bolt which sticks out from the centre of the pump, i have screwed the points back on but not sure if they go tight to the pump body or if their is suppose to be a gap, hope you can understand what i am saying, haynes book not very clear. cheers

i have screwed points back on to where i thought they should go, put it back on the car working okay
