i was on holiday in Riga last week and on Saturday went to the beach.. and in the middle of the afternoon a 100 or so classic cars and a similar number of motor bikes turned up..on the beach! fortunately despite the few posters around town which only showed american cars most were Zaz / Zil and other interesting russian cars ( happy to post more photos if anyone is interested)..

If you are after ideas..the rally itself, from what i understand starts at a town at one end of the beach before driving for 25Km down the beach, with frequent stops for beach goers to look at the cars before finally getting to the town at the far end of the beach..[frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame]

As long as the wearing of swimsuits is not obligatory. Where would members put the cloth badge?

I don't think the Concours entrants would like all that sand either - salt air would ruin the chrome and the sand would damage their paint! Cloth badges on shorts or T shirts -where else?
