Emergency tools/spares

Post by peterpimlico »

OK, the faithfull Morris Minor will 'run and run.' But on occasion will sadly cough and stop! What would you recommend to carry in the boot, in an effort to cure a 'minor' (excuse the pun) stoppage?...... Spares/tools?

Suppose we fashion a 'sticky' and place it at the top of General Discussion or Useful Tips? Many many people ask about this.

I always wanted to do the JOGLE Run (John o'Groats to Lands End) in a pickup with a spare engine visibly tied down in the load bed, and whenother participents commented on it, say in a suprised tone "you mean you HAVEN'T brought a spare engine with you??" :D
cheers
