I can remember going out for a family outing in my Dad's Austin 1100. There were some students a few cars away in the car park who had locked their keys in the boot of their Mk 1 Escort, and they were going from car to car to see if anyone's keys would open it. Couldn't believe it when our Crook Lock key did the trick!
If you have one of those lovely motor accessory shops which
still give some sort of personal service and they cut car keys
then you should find that they have a huge bunch of our sort
of keys which they will let you try on your car. Identify yours
and they will cut the new ones while you wait!
