As before - it makes no odds - the pipes etc were fitted when it was on 8" drums.

Can't remember what threads are on the front of my Series MM but I know that I have fitted standard flex. hoses and I recently fitted a M1000 rear cylinder.
I also had to get longer front connecting pipes made for my Wolesely front brakes possibly because I used M1000 cylinders which have the pipes set at a different angle to the W1500 cylinders.
All of which has nothing to do with sticking brakes

Thanks for the replies. The reason I was asking was because I am thinking about upgrading my brakes to the disc setup and because the hoses that come with the kit are for a Minor, ( mine is a Riley 1.5), I just wanted to see if I had to reflare brake pipes with a non-UNF female unions.
The Riley is all UNF but I realise that the Morris uses BSF UNF mixture.
Anyway I've put that project on hold. I'm rebuilding the hydraulic systems with new cylinders, (clutch master, 6 brake slaves) and using repair kits where the bores are fine, ( brake master, clutch slave, servo) and hanging onto the drums for the time being. I've also found someone who will check them for roundness for a about a tenner a wheel..... but lets get it back on the road first.

£10 to 'check' the roundness......
What will they check against?? The centre hole is not a register----just use the drums - they will be fine. You can check them yourself once they are mounted on your hubs......
