MOT tester recommendations in Aylesbury

Post by Buzby58 »

Billy is coming up for his MOT :o

Any recommendations for a tester who understands older cars in or around Aylesbury?

(We had a great place down near my folks in Hampshire who was very thorough but would get you under the car to show you anything that needed doing or would need future attention - very useful, but unfortunately he's now retired)

TIA

That sounds perfect, my new MOT guy used to race Minis.
At the other end of the scale I've come across testers who think Classic = dangerous old banger, not to be passed under any circumstances.

Hi I've used Aylesbury Autocare on the Raban's Lane estate, who are not classic specialists but who I was happy with , and also AJF in Westcott who is a former MG Rover service guy who also knows a lot about classics.

Cheers,

Paul.

The Old Dairy Garage in Tring MOT cars and the owner owns a few old cars and he sorted out the rough running on my van and someone who sometimes works for him sorted out the rear brakes. It's best to book as he gets very busy.
