Another Indicator problem!
so just before the national, I went to fill up for the trip down and noticed that the indicator tell tale was not working when indicating left. I originally thought that the bulb was blow, but the tell tale was working fine when indicating right. I checked that the indicators where working in the petrol station, and yes they still where, except fast on the passenger side as if a bulb was blown.
so the dilemma is
The tell tale flashes once or twice when indicating left and then stops
the indicators work on the passenger side except they are slightly fast
drivers side work just how it should, tell tale and all.
I have replaced the bulb in the stalk and it still does the same
ALL BULBS WORK!
so is it an earth problem, flasher unit, or switch?
Thanks for your help
Indicator Tell tale only works on one side........

If it is a faulty flasher unit then you should get the same problem on both sides.
I would suggest that you have a faulty earth wire and the indicator bulb is earthing through the side light or the mounting bolts

Take a look at this thread. Worth checking that everything is correctly earthed but someone had a similar problem and it turned out to be a break in the wire:

thanks for the help guys,
solved it!
decided to test all of the bulbs again, and the rear passenger was faulty ( sometimes working sometimes not) and replaced, viola, everything working again!
Cheers Chris

More likely to have been connection between bulb and holder - bulbs either work, or not.......but dirty/corroded connections could be the problem.

I was looking at the bulb , and it seems that the filament has blow, and then re soldiered its self back together? i have heard of this happening , that the bulb can blow, but is still hot enough to re connect.
it was very corroded as well, but a little bit of emery paper didn't seem to do anything.
Cheers for your help
