Quick front dampener question
I have disassembled my front suspension and have discovered that there is axial play in the dampeners, as in if you hold the arm you can push it in and out a bit. I remember that when I braked it used to clonk firmly so I assume it was this slack being taken up. Basically is this normal?
Re: Quick front dampener question
Ahh. Is the slack adjustable?
Re: Quick front dampener question
Fraid not...... exchange damper required - although they may not accept that one in exchange.....

I wonder why it would be doing that? Isn't the arm supposed to be almost inseparable from the damper? I remember reading somewhere it took several tons of force to get one off...

The whole mech inside must be worn causing the excessive end play.
