We had a good turn out at the rally with approximately a dozen young members turning up
A good time was had by all and the young members won the inter-branch challenge

The inter-branch challenge was a real highlight, my money was on the young members from the start.
Couldn't find anyone to take a bet though
.
It was a lot more spontaneous than previous years, and all the better for it.

Haha well frankly it would have been a shock if we didn't win an egg and spoon race
I dont think anyone saw my subtle dive towards the end of the race

My sympathy went to the people who had to use a regular wooden spoon and not a salad server or soup ladle like you had.
All bets would have been off if you had that!

Congrats and good to see the young members pulling together to get something to happen.
I popped over to the stand but it was a bit quiet at that point

I went from a series 2 to a '67 model... flashing indicators, operated using and indicator arm were such a novelty for the first few months... now I wish I still had trafficators
