wow lots of interesting work to do there then, challenging but rewarding in equal measure, I'd get those spotless door cards off and stored away safe and dry, along with anything else thats decent. Keep us posted on your progress, we may not lend a physical hand, but we're here for you in a electronic sense.

Looks like rot in the usual places. Conveniently, you'll find there are panels available for all of those areas. :D Looks like an excellent project though. Keep us updated with your progress.

thanks guys for the offer of advice.... i am sure i will be taking you up on this .

yes the rivet plates are not just in the floors, i have taken the door cards off and stored them with the seats and carpets, which too are in excellent condition, back seat never been sat on.

she is a little beauty. on the look out for a welder now and a new grinder next couple of weeks. got catalogue coming for the new panels i need, but this is going to be fun as i have not used a welder for about 8-10 years. so i am little nervous.
