clutch problem

here are the symtoms

last nite driving back from work all ok
this morning going to work clutch pedals travel is nearly on the floor after 6 miles
drives ok no noises etc when driving

clutch linkages are ok and the pedal is ok
nasty noises when taking foot off clutch to engage gears aafter in gear all is ok on all gears

adjusted travel on the clutch and still makes a noise and judder when taking foot off clutch to drive away
once in gear no noises and drives ok

Can only suggest taking the rubber bungs out and having a look at the clutch through the holes -shine a light in one and look in the other. But does sound like something has failed on the pressure assembly - or perhaps the carbon thrust. Engine out job I suspect......
