Re: Growing Convoy for National
no problem, i'll leave it there, as katie joins at that point and it's en-route (as katie needs to avoid motorways) -if that's okay with you?ASL642 wrote:Matt - please forget us We'll be at Knebworth well before 12.15pm Sorry!

No problem. Didn't want to let anyone down as we won't be there.

Just a reminder that it's not a good idea to post your home post code on an open forum.

Re: Growing Convoy for National
Hi Matt,
Hope your exams went well.
I am afraid you will have to count me out of the convoy.
Bicester is going to be far too far out of my way and I am hoping to meet up with my brother (support vehicle and all round good egg!!) at South Mimms around lunchtime.
I didn't really clock where you were coming from when I said I would join the convoy. At least I won't have to buy so many sweets now (they would probably have all got eaten in the first couple of hours anyway !!!!!!!)
Very excited now!!

Braunton? Up the road
I'm hoping to go from Barnstaple EX31 [Squiggle aka Chrissie]
Maybe we could liase and join up somewhere along the line?
Chug at 50 sounds about right too.
I need to get confidence back in my car too after so many things going wrong for so long.

Would love to join the convoy but I don't know if I can guarantee being at a particular point at a particular time.
I think it is going to take me about 6 hours if I can get George to chug along at 50.
Also meeting family who are joining me for the weekend somewhere along the line!!!

Re: Growing Convoy for National 2011
A convoy for the 2012 Nationals? That sounds an excellent plan,
I have just joined this illustrious group by buying OOT 887 a 1954 split-screen 803 that I saw at a funeral! Anyway I have here at home (near Bicester) and am going through the mechanicals, which are not at all bad and seem to be confirming the 51000 that the speedo says (stored in a barn since 1980)...
If I am nosing into the young owners group then I apologies as I am an old fogey.
Best regards
