d25 or d45
Have a 1969 traveler so has the car a d25 or d45 distributor? Or how can I find out which one I have?
Thank you
Thank you

Re: d25 or d45
my money would be on it having a 25D. Look on the top face of the distributor casing (the face that the cap sits on) you should be able to see 25D on there without the need to remove the cap. If i recall it's near the advance and retard diaphragm.
if you can't find it i'll take a pic of mine to show you where to look.
25D would be the original one for the car.

As standard the car would have a 25D, but may have been fitted with a later (and better) 45D . Post a picture ! Why do you ask anyway - is it giving problems?

Re: d25 or d45
I've bought a Accuspark Electronic and the have sent a D45 and was just checking if this was in order to fit
Thank you

It will do if you told them it was an A series engine - but personally I would avoid the 'electronic' version.....

It was in a advert for Minors so should be fine.

does dd stand for double diamond?
Re: d25 or d45
Fitted the Accuspark D45 electonic ignition along with new coil and leads.
Vary easy to fit and the change in the car was super.
Fast class upgrade to any car and worth the money.
