AIR FILTER "NOZZLE" POSITION ?.

Post by Courthouse/Tom »

Hi everyone,my 1970 2 door saloon has the air filter nozzle pointed down towards the exhaust manifold. The owners book says move into its summer position, away from there. Ive taken it off but it will only go back into the same position. Is the book wrong ,or am i doing something wrong ??.
Thanks, Tom  [frame]Image[/frame]

It simply twists round so the intake is away from the exhaust. In time - it will vibrate loose and fall off anyway, so you won't have to worry about it any more !
