Re: 1950 ?tourer on ebay
I have a 1949 Lowlight that has been off the road since 1968 and according to the DVLA site that is also taxed!Dean wrote:According to the DVLA website this car is Taxed????![]()

The logbook on mine states the taxation class as "unlicensed" and it has been like that since we got it in the 1980's!

Re: 1950 ?tourer on ebay
The "date of liability" relates to the the date that the road tax or the SORN declaration expires so shouldn't be used as a means of confirming the identity of a vehicle.Dean wrote:According to the DVLA website this car is Taxed????![]()

Re: 1950 ?tourer on ebay
Seems like he is an honest seller!
"I HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY A COUPLE OF MORRIS MINOR CLUB ENTHUSIASTS THAT IT MAY NOT BE A GENUINE TOURER BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF REAR REMOVABLE SIDE SCREENS
V5 STATES BODY TYPE AS TOURER
THE MILEAGE IS 71,000
CHASSIS NUMBER IS SMM/40*** "
I'm surprised the first bid is nearly £1000 for a car requiring full restoration!!!
