Hi all im interested in the SUFFOLK RECLINING SEAT from newton commercials but im put off by the price, does any one know a similar seat that can be recovered to look the same?

Yes they are expensive! If you can track down some Metro or Rover 100 seats these will fit, but you need to make a metal base to bolt them to which is the right shape for the Minor floorpan. Modern car seats tend to be flat based whereas the Minor floor is slightly dished. I have recovered a set of metro seats in vinyl for my son's car, but it was very fiddly and quite difficult to refit. Not wishing to boast, but I am quite an experienced seamstress. The Metro seats have a stiff foam base which has wires that keep the seat cover in place. All these wires have to be refitted into you new seatcover.
The other option is to buy some seats in good condition as near in colour to your original interior get the metal base made and use them.
I have Suffolk seats in both my cars (new set just fitted to the Convertible) and don't regret the money. Very comfortable and so easy to adjust from one driver to another.
