spark plug order
HI. What's number one spark plug, the one nearest the radiator, then 2, 3 and 4 towards the firewall? Cheers.

Hi, number one is nearest the rad, then as you described. Firing order is 1,3,4,2

Just to recap, is it 1, 3, 4, 2, order: top left on the distributor, bottom left, bottom right, top right?

also the firing order is stamped on the manifold, also the valve clearances
and yes 1342 anti clockwise looking down on the dizzy

It depends where the drive peg for the dizzy was put in

LMAO ... and there is me always doing it the other way around - I go anti-clockwise around the dizzy & from the battery forward to the radiator ... seems to work though!
