bigger exhaust and air filter

i have a 1098 and it will be standard when its resotred. What k and n air filters can go onto the carb and what bigger big bore exhaust can go on, i know that i have to get a cast iron manifold.

you can get K&N filters for the standard carb. classic mini parts suppliers can do them, as you'll find the same carb on some minis.

people will tell you the K&N's are really noisy, but i've never found it to be an unpleasant noise personally!

you can get a tubular manifold, or a cast one. the cast one you're refering to (i think) is a marina one which is a scaled up version of the minor one. but that is designed to take a different carb, either a HS4 (bigger version of the minor one) or a HIF series carb.

Well they are resionably priced for exhausts. might invest in one when i have money.
