It'll be over 10 years old, so give it a good shake first!
Other than that it's fine to use.
It must have been difficult to make as they only produced it for a few years when 15/40 was becoming more common- it's actually a superior spec to 20/50 as it's more efficient for winter cold starting and identical when very hot.

Mine was brand new! £15 for 4l at a classic bike show. Was rather chuffed and my car has never run smoother or quieter!
