How can I tell if a diff is a 3.9 ratio.

Post by Oddball67 »

I've discoverd a diff that may be a 3.9 ratio? However I'm unsure and before a possible purchase I'd like to check. All I can se on the crown wheel is MOWOG BTA 1224 10-39.

I'm sure there's someone out there that can tell me what to look for or, possiby the number of teeth? Unable to get to the pinion as the diff is all assembled.

Any assistance would be appreciated. 8)

9/41 = 4.55, 7/37 = 5.286, 8/43 = 5.375. Stamped on the axle case of Series MM diffs. Might as well have the others
