Hi, Does anybody no what happened to mm of Castleford ????? Trying to find out if anyone purchased there old stock when they stopped trading :) cheers Greg

I don't seem to remember anything about when they stopped trading but i'ts certainly quite a few years ago.
What is it you are trying to unearth.

As mentioned, I drove over to Castleford last week and looked all around the "Estate" area, no signed of them.

I talked to a few businesses that were still trading there and was told by a "Senior" geezer in the Tyre shop that was next door to where MM traded, he said they shut up shop quite quickly and that was back in August 2000.

Hope thats helpful to anyone wanting to know or worse still planning a visit.

I knew they'd stopped trading a long time back now - 2000 is probably about right.
I used to go there regularly when I first got a proper job and a Morris Minor in the early 90s. Got my first disc brake kit from them amongst other bits.

I think that's the company I got my fibreglass doors from. Good quality items & still on my minor
