Was the Morris Minor ever involved in any Mobil, etc,economy runs,and if so,what sort of data was recorded ?.

I think it was 1953 with the new fast and furious 803cc engine they did a 10,000 mile non stop economy run, heres a link to British Pathe News

I think that it was an endurance run rather than an economy run.

The 'economy' achieved on that run was poor - despite slow speed/never needing to brake/no cold running etc etc.
