lights
Hi Please could you help.
my side lights and head lights have decided not to work.
when switched on And now indicators have decided not to work ether.
i have changed the fuses and cleaned the fuse holders with sand paper.
All the wireing seems to be conected and the earths seam ok
and just to add there is no main beam warning light as well.
All dead as a dodo
Best Regards Fellow moggie man Tom Geoghegan
THANKS

Re: lights
check the connections to the lights switch, all the lights take their power from there and, given you checked the rest, it sounds like a wire loose. If not there, then check the ignition switch.

Re: lights
The side lights are on a separate in line fuse (1098 only) and the headlights are not fused. Check the feed wire to the light switch, brown/blue. Ignition will not affect side/headlights
Indicators are a separate problem, switch on ignition and wipers to check fuse.
Check green wire to term B on flasher is live, if yes connect green wire to green/brown wire and indicate left or right. Indicator lights should be on but not flash. If so replace flasher unit.

Re: lights
Yes, push in the pin in on the underside of the black knob and the knob will then pull off. You can then unscrew the chrome bezel and the switch can be withdrawn from behind!
