KFL 126G

Post by KatiePotatie »

My little car came with lots of history, and a letter from the MMOC & lots of copies of Minor Matters.

I think at some point she lived in Eastbourne, and there are invoices to someone in Billinghay, Lincs too. Actually, I do have addresses, if noone knows her perhaps I should write to them :)

Hi Katie

You could obtain the details of previous owners from the DVLA, there is a special form they have to request this info and they charge - was £5 the last time I did it. Sometimes they don't have much info, it depends on what the local authority handed over to them when the records were centalised in the mid seventies. A lot of the records were just destroyed instead of ending up at the local records office. You also must be down as the registered keeper first though.
The registration suggests the car was registered in Cambridgeshire. (Huntingdon, according to my 1969 AA book) If you don't know, that's the 'FL' bit of the reg no or 'mark' as the DVLA like to call it.

Good luck, it often makes interesting reading!

Oooo I will have a look into that thank you!

I'd like to know where she has been. She was apparently abroad for a time too, I have found some German bits & bobs.

My car family tree :D
