As I have explained before - TR7 rear brake shoes (for the later 5 speed cars) are virtually the same - just need the notch filing into the front edge to sit into the adjuster cam spindle and possibly a slight narrowing with a file depending on the supplier. Often very cheap on ebay! I'm sure there are specialist suppliers who can get the W shoes - but at a price !!

thats not a huge problem,
if the worst comes to the worse, could i just whip the actual pads off and fit them to the wolseley shoes with new copper rivets?

I guess so - but the mods should be very simple - provided the linings are not too wide... One set I bought (for my TR7) are slightly wider than the others - which are a good match for the W shoes.
