Rear Door Handle Position
Ive just Seen a picture of a VERY neat 4door and the rear internal door handles were positioned horizontally... Mine are vertically down (along with the front), and too lock i move them towards the front of the car. Which way are they supost to be?

Re: Rear Door Handle Position
Logic would seem to say downwards so they are pulled back to open the door, but just looked through some factory photos in a Minor book and all are shown horizontal. Maybe its to give more knee room? Or just for neatness in the same way that rear door handles on vans and travellers should point down when shut.
cheers

Re: Rear Door Handle Position
horizontal may be factory position, but it confuses the heck out of some passengers.

I dread it when they have to be shown how to clip the static belts together... many times

Re: Rear Door Handle Position
seems i have a few less gifted mates then ;) theyre always grabbing the windw winder =/ whats really annoying is when they presume its so old its gonna break and pull the door to so gently it doesnt catch, then when i tell them they have ot be firmer the slam the f**k out of it =[

my sister is always slamming my doors. her minor takes a very firm slam to get them to shut, mine is actually quite good, but she's so used to hers i fear she'll break my windows!
