hose from dash, the frnt passenger area, white stones?

hi there, broken up white stone deposits coming from the heater in the middle, from the pipe that goes to the side of the front passenger area? just wondering what this is, what it may signify? needs a good flushing?

not getting heat from this heater yet.

that,s what i was thinking,i,m in a soft water zone so if your in a hard water area then it could be the lime buildup like you,d see typically in a kettle?

Might be a slightly weepy hose, and its the antifreeze, drying off to leave white crystals? My top radiator hose to thermostat housing weeps a bit, (Job for the near future), and it always has white crystals over it and down the side of the head.

Are they really tiny? I have seen this sort of stuff in a car that has been treated with coolant flush. I assumed it was a grit that helps scrape the deposits away.
