electronic distributor wont fit

hey guys sorry to keep bothering about distributors. but when i got my 45d electronic distributor and put it into the marina engine although the bottom drive pegs fitted and it was the correct length. but the hole in the block is approximatley 34 mm wide. were as the distributor shaft is only approximatley 27 mm. so the distributor waps about. what and why is this happening?

maybe the one you have is for a ital engine
nut would have thought the spindle was the same diameter

What dizzy was in the engine before? Does the new dizzy fit the mounting sleeve/adapter that the 25D dizzy used ?

the engine didnt come with a distributor with it.

Do you have another engine you can 'borrow' the dizzy from ?

do you have the sleeve that fits into the block and then the dizzy its into that

no i dont have a adapter sleeve. do you know were i could get one from

does the distributor from my 1098 have a adapter sleeve. if so could it be swaped the when i swap the engines.

your 1098 will have an adaptor but you can try it , but i am not sure they are the same
