Headlamp Chrome
Hi all, i am in the process of finishing off the car and can't get the headlamp chrome rings to fit the headlights, i thought it might be the new rings but tryed to put the old one's back on and couldn't get them on either. pain in the you know what as i can't get them to fit

I had a similar problem replacing a headlights, I found that if I screwed the fixings holding the light to the wing, they went on ok.

It can be a fiddle and it is easier if you remove the side/indicator lens(1098). Note the position of the screw hole in the chrome and the bracket for the screw thread near the bottom of the backplate. Fit the top of the chome over the lip of the backplate and twist until the screw hole in the chrome is lined up with the bracket, then push the bottom of the ring on. With a bit of luck you will be able to fit the screw
