tips for turning car on its side?

Maybe someone can do this for tips section

I know people turn cars over to do the chassis on one side. Is it ok and wont mess the doors up etc?

What's the best way to do it how many people needed? A few car tyres? Duvets pillows?

It's probably best if the car is close to a bare shell. The doors are some of the heaviest items on a Morris Minor, so I think you'll want to remove them (not that difficult, comparatively). A good idea to remove seats, engine, gearbox, and prop shaft also. Understand, though, that tipping CAN be done with all these things still on the car -- it's just more dangerous (for you and the car) and more difficult.

In any case, you'll definitely want to drain the fluids out, and tip it onto something comparatively soft -- I've heard of tires and mattresses.

The best way (assuming there is sufficient strength in the cars structure) is to use a chassis roller.

I rolled my trav as a complete car (without draining any fluids) on a roller and replaced spring hangers sills, crossmember etc etc

What work needs doing?
If you already plan to remove the engine or are going to replace a front chassis leg then take it out.

Otherwise you don't really need to, take the battery out, run the petrol low then use the pump to empty the tank and have at it.

I wouldn't start with the car resting on tyres as in the video, rather jacked up to the full extent of a trolley jack to do the heaviest lifting.
Once it reaches balance point it doesn't need any pushing,gravity will take over, pulling would be better to help a soft landing.

If you plan to roll it onto the drivers side draining the oil seems like a good idea as I doubt the dipstick will retain much oil.

Tyres, without rims make a decent landing point.
