I have two! One a 4-door and the other a 2. It was just a coincidence that I ended up with two the same colour but I do think it is one of the best shades for a Minor.

I own a '68 Traveller which was my dad's before he passed away last year. Of all the 60-odd cars cars he ever owned, the Morris was his favourite. Hence it has sentimental value as well as being my family's hobby now![frame]

I have a four door Trafalgar blue in the other garage. In quite a sorry state I might add!

I am in the process of restoring a 1969 2 door saloon in Trafalgar Blue.
I think it is a great colour for an iconic car.

Coming in a bit late but I have a 1970 Trafalgar Blue 2 door sedan.
UK built cars are fairly scarce in Australia so you could probably count the number of Trafalgar cars here on one hand.

Re: How many people own a trafalgar blue morris minors
In the late 1980s/ early 1990s I owned what I thought was a faded Trafalgar Blue Traveller (CLK749H). This underwent a lengthy rolling restoration (welding done by Roy Halsall when he was based near Guildford, where visits were always enlightening and interesting), and the wood and interior replaced by myself on a limited budget. When it came to getting the car repainted the paint factor I used made a mistake and supplied a Moskvich colour instead (but sold as BU37 Trafalgar Blue). This of course only came to light after painting had been done and funds didn't allow for another respray, which was very disappointing at the time.
Circumstances forced me to sell the car (via Charles Ware's Morris Minor Centre, who at that time had an outpost in Inkpen near Newbury) in September 1991. I think it took some time to sell but was eventually sold.
I always thought of it as Trafalgar Blue unless it was next to another (genuine Trafalgar Blue) Morris.

Now repeat after me.
Morris minors are the way forward.
Don't ever be told that your life wont be taken other by owning a classic car.
You can never own to many vintage cars.
Now that wasn't hard was it.

I used to own one till about ten years ago BDW605C, but had it painted maroon b
when I restored it due to finding an immaculate and very cheap red interior! Does it still exist?[frame]

Re: How many people own a trafalgar blue morris minors
My fist Minor was a 1965 Traffy blue 2dr saloon - I had that 11 years (HKX 992C ) I think it's dead now.
I currently have a dodgy 1969 2 dr saloon in Traf blue (RAY 39G) ex disability car.
A friend has a less dodgy 1969 2 dr saloon in Traf blue (WRC ###G) ex disability car - currently for sale at £650+ with MOT and tax..

Re: How many people own a trafalgar blue morris minors
Sorry - bit late spotting this thread. I've a 1969 2-door saloon ex-disability car - owned since 1993 - LFX 675G. Most disability kit now gone as I didn't realise what it all meant (plain door cards, slotted chassis leg, body-colour grill and window frames) but the sliding seat remains!
