noisey van exhaust cured

Post by vanboy »

hi,went into my local friendly sts exhaust centre and they offered to put the van up on the ramps and find a suitable extra box to fit to my new exhaust to make it a bit less noisey, the van went on the ramps and i had free run of the stores, i found a nice box that fits perfect in the middle cross over section obove the prop.the part is a tuberex 1400 box,it is straight through type so wont restrict "power" and now the van is lovely and quiet.the only problem is the box is the same diameter pipe as t he exhaust so you need a piece of 35mm exhaust pipe to use as connectors,i dont know what the box comes from as the garage did not have the parts book, proberly a metro but if you contact tuberex they will tell you.
