Re: Battery recommendations....
COSTCO are best for batteries. No need for a bigger battery - DO make sure the terminals are right way round to keep them at the back of the battery tray - away from clamping bar. Get the largest battery Costco have for the lowest price - if you see what i mean.

This one slightly cheaper http://www.countybatteryservices.co.uk/ ... -2568.html but terminals on the wrong side.......
For very little more money this one has higher capacity and cranking power - and the terminals are right way round!

Re: Battery recommendations....
Although it doesn't say it fits a Morris, will this one fit ok without having to change anything? Sorry for my lack of knowledge!
Re: Battery recommendations....

Re: Battery recommendations....
Sorry, what's -ve earth? I guess its negative earth. As i look at the car, - is on the left and + on the right.
Re: Battery recommendations....
Oh - well - unless you fancy making the switch, better stick with the 038 battery.

Re: Battery recommendations....
i got a 063 for £30 and my car is positive earth, that's OK isn't it?
Re: Battery recommendations....
It's an OK price - just make sure the terminals can't short against the holding bar.

Re: Battery recommendations....
they defiantly cant short against the battery bar, partly because its been wrapped in black rubber tubing(not sure why though). least i know that i have done something right.
Re: Battery recommendations....
It's much safer if the terminals are at the rear - well away from the bar. Wrapped in tubing doesn't sound too safe.....
