with mine I took one of the longer leaves out of an old pair of springs, dismantled mine and made bigger clips to hold it all together.
Were they old Minor 1000 traveller springs or SII Minor springs?
The SII Minor 7 leaf springs were approx the same rating as the later (Minor 1000 saloon) 5 leaf springs.
