Intermittent Fault
This is Electrical all fuel sides have been eradicated.
The fault is a missing in firing and then stopping and able to re start then stopping after 70miles and not restarting.
There are new leads, new plugs, new coils x2
When cold it is fine fires on all leads to all plugs.
have checked battery its good have lumination instead of points and condenser.
Any Ideas?

Re: Intermittent Fault
Check the small wires in the dizzy and make sure that they are not loose or shorting out. Try running the engine in the dark and looking for stray sparks.

As above, rotor arm. Also change condenser.

Re: Intermittent Fault
he has lumenition, so i doubt it's the LT or the condenser...
Re: Intermittent Fault
No! He has 'lumination' - not the same thing....?
Maybe some kind of optical system ??

Re: Intermittent Fault
Try changing the small LT WIRE in the distributor.
Check to see if the coil is getting very hot when the car stops- may be on the way out.
Oh, and try removing the "lumenition" and go back to points and condensor. It may be causing the intermittent problem if the "Lumenition" itself is faulty.
