urgent coolant brand question
Can you use long life comma xstream red in mm and can it be mixed with normal blue?
Re: urgent coolant brand question
Maybe not wise to mix red and blue. Lidl have some blue 'concentrate' at the moment that looks fine for a Minor .

Re: urgent coolant brand question
Hello Xpress,
although I've forgotten the details, I'm informed that the modern orange (usually) anti freeze is not suitable for older cars. Use the older blue antifreeze and don't mix the two, even in a modern.

As Alec says, stick with the blue, avoid the orange and don't mix colours. See here: http://www.v8register.net/FilesV8WN/Con ... 090310.pdf
