Engine floor Turned-up section

Post by croft »

Hi all, after fitting a new floor section to the engine bay I have just been informed I need to "turn up" a section so that the oil filter doesnt hit! Do I have to do this? If so could someone post a pic or some measurements of where the "turn-up" section needs to be. Thanks in advance

Here is a pic of it on ptitteringtons pick up chassis - its in the same place on the saloon and traveller Image

Its simply hammered up to make room for the oil filter to fit

I think most are hammered down, rather than up ?
