I have noticed the spacers between the wheelboxes and body are missing on mine (Later car). They don't seem to be available new. Does anybody have the measurements so I can make up one myself?

Is this the bit you mean?[frame]

If so, then the dimensions are -
OD = 24.7mm
ID = 16 - 17 mm
Short length = 7.5mm
Long length = 38.8mm
It seems to be of a Bakelite type of material.

Thanks a million Roni, that's exactly what I need. I'll make it in PVC or does anybody have two of these which they don't need. I'll cover cost and postage.

Re: Wiper spacer
Bit of an aside... The new chrome finishers I bought a few years ago were cut at a different angle to the originals (I'm guessing perhaps they were made for a Mini), which meant they didn't match the plastic spacers without some bodgery, and then afterwards the wipers wouldn't operate as well because the shaft is no longer perpendicular to the screen. To add insult to injury, the new chrome started corroding inside a year. In hindsight I should have kept the originals.

Had exactly the same problem as Alex. Gave up with the new ones and refitted my old pitted ones which fit and work.

Re: Wiper spacer
Hey guys, can someone tell me how to remove these parts? Do they just pull off or are they screwed on? Having real trouble removing them.
Thanks
