A Series II seen parked near the Place de la Concorde, Paris, today and to date is the only Minor I've seen in France apart from my own. The car has an MM Owner's Club sticker. I have seen this car several times before in this area. It has several parking tickets on the windscreen. Naughty, naughty!

Ah yes.....this is my Brother's car :o

Standard 1098 engine, gearbox still with the 948 diff- just one of those cheap stainless systems with no silencing powers...and one of those funnel things from Halfrauds on the end for good measure!
MarkyB wrote: Must have very good brakes, and razor sharp reactions given the driving style.
Ford vented disks and servo, telescopic rear dampers with 7 leaf springs and front anti roll bar- more like driving a go cart :D

We've had our suspicions about driving style (when out of Mum's sight!!) :D

beware South London!

like driving a go cart
Sounds like fun, I'd suggest leaving a bit more room for error though, other drivers can be very unpredictable.

Can't decide whether to post this to Minors in popular culture or here but here it is.
As seen in the Paris metro two days ago, witness the graffiti:[frame]Image[/frame]

Saw a Blue van, in fact I've been seeing it for several weeks now heading towards London on the A2 at about 4.45.
Managed to get a picture this time:[frame]Image[/frame]
Driver has a beard and looks a bit familiar, maybe from a Kent branch meeting that I used to attend.

Light blue convertible going up the M5 near Droitwich this afternoon. Looked to have a short registration like two numbers then three letters and a dark blue hood. It was in the inside lane going north and I was int he inside lane going south so it was only a fleeting glimpse... First one I've seen on the road this year!
cheers
Iain

Smoke grey 2 door today, driving along the A27 in Worthing, heading westbound approx 9.30am.

Looked like an early 1000 to me, cant remember the plate, but it had the raised style letters

I guess that could have been ASL642 (formerly known as regalia queen). she's got a light blue convertible with a dark blue hood, and lives around these parts (i can hear the M5 from here!). I can't remember what her reg is though, think it's _ _ _ _ _ _ A!
