Daft question but where is the windscreen wiper reservoir and how do I access it to fill it up ? I've recently bought my first moggie and this is the first time I've needed to top it up.

Re: Where is the windscreen wiper reservoir
Hi RobinofSherwood,
no questions daft mate if you don't know the answer.
My reservoir bottle is located on the drivers side of the bulkhead between the heater hoses and the battery box. On my motor pretty much the highest item on the bulkhead.

Mine it on the other side of the engine bay, the passenger side. I've seen some mounted lower down on the inner wing.
If you can't find it post a photo of your engine bay and I'm sure someone will spot it and point it out to you

Re: Where is the windscreen wiper reservoir
Just found a couple of pics of travellers where it is located on the left hand side of the bulkhead as well.
Matt's idea of posting a picture is probably the best idea.

Re: Where is the windscreen wiper reservoir
After at least 40 years of fiddling by various owners, it could be almost anywhere. Open the bonnet and look for the plastic tubing (about 1/4 inch diameter) that comes through the bulkhead and then follow it to the bottle. Favourite places include: low down in inner wings, bulkhead, rear of radiator panel. The reservoir can be almost any shape and made form plastic, glass, or metal.
NB If you have a remote brake reservoir fitted then the above description could apply to that as well, but it would tend to be higher on the wings or anywhere on the bulkhead. Don't get the wrong one.

Re: Where is the windscreen wiper reservoir
When I got my car, the previous owner had it stuffed the wash bottle into the battery box beside the battery. I hadn't a clue where it should go, so I made up a bracket to mount it on the bulkhead as there seemed to be plenty of room there.[frame]
