Hi Guys,
the light on the end of stalk flashes as it should but when indicators off it stays on. Seems to get quite hot. Is this the norm?
(checked the flasher unit and is wired up correctly)
Thanks in advance.
John

Re: indicator stalk
Not normal, shouldn't get hot, but there again it shouldn't be on all the time either.
Sounds like it may have been connected wrong.

Light green wire to P terminal on flasher unit. Does it go out when you disconnect the wire? If so try a different flasher, if not then you have a wiring problem

Re: indicator stalk
I second the above. I've had a similar thing in the past and it turned out to be the flasher relay...they can go for decades or last just a year or two. A cheep fix too
