Hi
Has anybody altered the height of their vehicle by using the adjuster plates- if so - what kind of a job is it?
Thanks
Steve

Re: adjusting height of vehicle
It depends on how corroded the plates and bolts are.
You have to take the load off the rear arm, which may mean stripping the front end down

The rear plates are for 'fine' adjustment - for more basic changes the front suspension lower arm is moved up or down one spline on the torsion bar.. Why do you want to adjust the height ? Do you want to raise it - or lower it ? All this advice of course only applies at the front - at the rear you can lift by fitting longer shackles (max extra length 1.5" = 3/4" lift) and in the unlikely event you want to lower the rear (most have sagged down anyway) then there are lowering blocks with longer U bolts available.
