Restoration advice

Hi

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask my question, but I don't seem to be able to access the member area to ask anyone there.

We own, the boss and I that is, a 1968 Traveller which is in good nick, but could do with some TLC. My problem is to find a restorer in our area, Derby, so would be grateful if anyone could point us in the right direction. A restorer of Morris Minors who someone has experence of and can mention. We are not looking for a castiron recomendation, just a name who we could follow up

I cant help I'm afraid as I dont know the area. Might be worth looking up your local branch and asking them?

The club doesn't have a reccomended traders scheme, so local word of mouth is king. I would guess that the largest MM trader near you is the Birmingham Minor Centre, although I have no idea if they do restorations - but might be worth a call?

As always with any of this kind of stuff make sure that you are happy with the restorer and keep a regular eye on progress - there are horror stories even from established traders with good reputations. Your car, your money so keep an eye on em

Would absolutely whole heartedly recommend JLH Minors. Not cheap, but their standards are excellent, and the quality is amazing.
