roof lining
There is a rust mark on my roof lining has anyone any tips on how to remove it?
Re: roof lining
question is where is the water comming from to make it rusty
or is it in line with the metal hoops,in which case even if you did clean it off the mark will come back unless you take the lining off and clean up the hoops

Re: roof lining
I had a brown stain on the lining I used to have. When i replaced it, due to a tear, I found the stain was from the black goo that had been used at the factory to stick the coarse "felt" pad to the roof. The goo had softened and dripped onto the top of the lining. I didn't try to clean it as it was being replaced.[frame]

We've found this as well. The marks seem to come from the various glues they used 40+ years ago. Ours was due to the glue used to attach the sound deadening to the roof.
