Back plate & Flywheel bolt torques

Post by d_harris »

Does anyone happen to know what torque the bolts securing the flywheel and backplate should be set to?

1098 if it makes any difference.

The MMOC Tech Tips manual states backplate bolts at 28 lb/f & flywheel bolts at 40 lb/f.

Indeed - I was playing safe! The backplate bolts are obviously not critical - and I always use loctite on the fly bolts.
