lght switch knob

Post by sidsmith »

:o hi all, I am trying to locate from somewhere a headlight / sidelight switch knob. the piece that goes on the end of the switch.
Mine crumbled due to age I think, and I don't want to replace the switch just the knob with the letter L on the end. I know I can get a replacement switch from MM spares Oldbury but they are £21 plus vat and I don't really want to go to that expense just for the bakelite piece, so if anybody has any information i would be very grateful for it.
cheers Mungo :-? :-?

So far I have found 3 light switches with no knobs, I have some more somewhere. I fitted a light switch and swapped the L for a W knob for my wipers/washers so that knob must be somewhere??????????????? I should never have tidied my garage
