Re: given a blank cheque...
[quote="cadetchris"]what car would you have?
-snip-
Given a blank cheque I would buy a house out in the country on a farm with a large (clean and dry) workshop, and the rest of the blank cheque would buy a wreck of a very early series 1 E-type roadster (3.8 with the flat floor) and all the tools needed to fit out my dream workshop, and the spares/paint /materials needed as well. Of course there would be plenty of room to shelter my current vehicles.

My friend has one, a 1926 model that he's owned it since 1967 - as long as my car has been aroundJudge wrote:A Bullnose Morris to go with my Flatnose, but it would have to be as original as possible.

Re: given a blank cheque...
Be difficult to limit it to one car.I'd buy an old aircraft hanger & fill it with loads of classics but number one priority would be a MK1 LOTUS CORTINA

Isn't that a Morris Oxford?simmitc wrote:Morris Traveller, modified to be slightly wider, slightly longer, 4 doors (plus the rear) with a few extra gizmos and a little more horsepower, but retain the essence of the original.
A Series 4 Oxford would be on my list too, unless an Isis came along first...
cheers

Hello all,
it has to be British and a DB4 GT will fit the bill quite nicely.
