Number Plates

Post by FHF407 »

Don't you hate it when the original Reg Number is sold from the proper car to some egomaniac, and the orginal car gets a silly 123 XXX type of number as replacement? Worse still, the size of the digits on the new number plate are usually too small for their supposed date of issue. Pre 1963 digits were three and a half inches high.

Most of the vintage number plate manufacturers will make plates with the correct size digits.....

Hey' , it's not the number you're preserving, any motor factor can give you new plates. Mon the rusty money pit!!! Wish i'd kept a record of what i'd spent to preserve the history of yesteryear!!!
Hope I last this long!
