How do you find the reg number

Bought a minor with no v5 but it has the vin tags but NO reg plates,guy i bought it from couldnt mind the reg number,i have a full reciept for it,so does anyone have any idea how to find the reg number by using the chassic number.Is there a website that will give you the reg number using the chassic id?

there is a form to fill in as no log book was with vehicle i think it cost £25 Check the DVLA web site for the form

if it has ever been mot'd under the computerised system,I'm prety sure a test centre can bring the details up on their computer,thats if they can be bothered

I really do think you will need to apply for a 'new' age-related registration. Just hope they don't give you a 'Q'....

You can phone HPI in Salisbury and they can do a check under the full chassi number, or alternitivley you can do this online.
