Hi,

Yes ,if you fit a modified engine back plate and flywheel you cn use a 1098

minor g/box. These are available from any of the Minor main parts suppliers.

If you have a spare moggy back plate you can bolt the two together(moggy/marina)this will show you what to remove...
Use a moggy flywheel and get it drilled to take the 6 bolts of the marina crank.
I gave my engineer the marina flywheel which he cut out the center to use as a drilling guide.
You can use the standard moggy clutch or the pressure plate from a ford....

Hope this helps.

It's a very tight squeeze to use the Marina gearbox - it 'can' be done I believe - but most just use the Minor 1098 ribbed gearbox (1275 version if you can find one!). The Marina box would also call for different prop-shaft/gearbox mounts/floor pan cover........ I just bolted my Marina flywheel to the Minor flywheel and used it as a drill jig to very carefully drill the necessary extra holes in the Minor flywheel centre. Keep them tight!
